Recent performances include Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore with Inland Northwest Opera, Spoletta in Tosca with Opera San Jose, Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance with Opera Tampa, Fenton in Falstaff with Raylynmor Opera, Marco in The Gondoliers with Winter Opera St. Louis, El Remendado in Carmen with Kentucky Opera and Salt Marsh Opera, Younger Thompson in Glory Denied, with Kentucky Opera and Fayetteville Opera, Felix in the workshop of the new opera Frankenstein with Arizona Opera, Tybalt in Roméo et Juliette and the cover of Arcadio in Florencia en el Amazonas with Pensacola Opera, Laurie in Little Women with Opera in the Heights, the cover of Tim Laughlin in Fellow Travelers with DMMO, Siegfried in Das Barbecü with HGOco, The Barber in Man of La Mancha with Central City Opera, and the tenor soloist with the Pensacola Choral Society in Rossini’s Stabat Mater. Alexander’s Carnegie Hall debut as the tenor soloist in Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass was postponed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Mr. Scheuermann has been a resident artist with Pensacola Opera and Kentucky Opera, and holds a bachelor’s degree in voice from Florida State University and a master's in voice from the University of Houston. Alexander lives in Basel, Switzerland.

Having to perform a good amount of time on his knees during the first act as well as having to re-enact Col. Thompson’s torture, Mr. Scheuermann didn’t miss a beat.”
